About Anthony Franco

Anthony coordinates contributions to AI First Principles (aifirstprinciples.org), an open-source framework for rebuilding operations around AI. He also wrote the WISER Method (wisermethod.com), a systematic approach for implementing those principles.

His background is building companies. He founded Effective Inc., a UX consultancy that worked with 40% of the Fortune 100. The firm grew to $50M and WPP acquired it. Beyond Effective, he's built multiple other companies, five with successful exits, in consumer products, AI platforms, wireless networks, marketing software, and real estate.

Working with Fortune 100 clients at Effective taught him how large organizations adopt new technology and where they break. The Design Thinking work he did then shapes how he approaches AI implementation now: understand the system before you change it, iterate based on evidence, make processes visible.

As Managing Partner of First Strategy, he works with companies on AI automation, transformation, and go-to-market strategy.
